Housing pathways initiative

Rebuilding Stability. Restoring Dignity. Creating Independence.

Finish First Academy’s Transitional Housing Program provides safe, structured, and supportive housing for women experiencing housing instability. Our model is designed to move participants from crisis to stability through individualized case management, life-skills development, and workforce preparation. We have 25 beds among our three transitional houses, allowing women to stay up to 12 months as they regain their independence.

We believe housing is more than shelter — it is the foundation for rebuilding confidence, restoring dignity, and creating sustainable independence. Our goal is for every woman to have a renewed sense of self, stable housing, and a stable career.

Who We Serve

We serve adult women facing housing instability, many of whom are navigating economic hardship, family disruption, or major life transitions. Through structured programming and accountability measures, participants receive both stability and opportunity.

Since program inception, FFA has supported over 300 women through transitional housing services made possible through public and community funding partnerships.

Our Housing Model

FFA provides more than a place to stay — we provide a pathway forward.

Participants receive:

  • Safe, structured transitional housing

  • Individualized case management

  • Life skills development (financial literacy, goal setting, conflict resolution)

  • Employment readiness and workforce support

  • Community resource navigation

  • Stabilization planning for permanent housing

Residents work with case managers to develop personalized success plans focused on income growth, financial responsibility, and long-term housing security.

Measurable Impact

Our program is designed to achieve:

  • Increased income stability

  • Employment placement and retention

  • Successful transition into permanent housing

  • Improved financial management skills

  • Reduced risk of homelessness recurrence

By combining accountability with compassionate support, FFA promotes long-term housing stability — not temporary relief.
